Paphos, sometimes referred to as Pafos, is a coastal city in the southwest of Cyprus and the capital of Paphos District. In antiquity, two locations were called Paphos: Old Paphos and New Paphos. The currently inhabited city is New Paphos. It lies on the Mediterranean coast, about 50 km (31.07 mi) west of the Limassol (the biggest port in island), which has an A6 highway connection. Paphos International Airport is the country's second largest airport.

Drazica beach, Biograd, Croatia
Biograd na Moru is a city and municipality in northern Dalmatia, Croatia and is significant for being the former capital of the medieval Croatian Kingdom. Its population is 6,059 (2005). Biograd is administratively part of the Zadar County. It is located on the Adriatic Sea coast, overlooking the island of Pašman, on the road from Zadar and Sukošan towards Vodice and Šibenik. The city of Biograd is a noted tourist resort with a long tradition. Its first tourists started arriving in the 1920s from Czechoslovakia and its first hotel was built in 1935.

Ostend, Belgium
Ostend is visited by many 'day' tourists, especially during July and August. Tourists from the Belgian inland and foreigners mostly arrive by train (day trips) and head for the closest beach area from the station (kleinstrand). The locals and other residents in Belgium usually occupy the larger beach (grootstrand). Ostend used to be widely visited by British, Germans, French and Dutch, but is now mainly frequented by Belgians and Dutch.

Ksamil, Sarande, Albania
Ksamil is a municipality in the riviera of Southern Albania, built in 1966 and part of the Butrint National Park. It is located south of the city of Sarandë off the road to Butrint and is part of District of Sarandë. It is also one of the most frequented coastal resorts, by both domestic and foreign tourists.
Dhermi, Himare, Albania
Dhërmi is one of the nine villages of the Himara region/municipality, in Albania. The village lies 42 kilometers south of the city of Vlorë (the capital of the Prefecture) and about the same distance north of the southern city of Sarandë. The village is built on a slope of the Ceraunian Mountains, at approximately 200 meters in altitude. The mountains descend to the southwest into the Ionian coast and Corfu in the distance to the south. Nearby is the village of Palasë. The inhabitants of Dhërmi speak a variant of the Himariote Greek dialect, characterized by archaic features not retained in modern Greek. Recently, the coastal area has seen a boom in the construction of accommodation facilities, such as wooden villa complexes. In addition, it is considered by the Albanian youth as a nightlife destination.

Shëngjin is a coastal town in the Lezha District, northwestern Albania. The town is home to one of Albania's entry ports, Port of Shëngjin.

Velipoja is a very nice touristic center, with a rich panorama, where sea, beach, river, islands, forest, hills etc are all linked together. It is a suitable place to watch east Adriatic birds in the sands and the ponds of low water. It is a land with a very old population, rich ethnic folkloric traditions, with great fishers and farmers, which are very welcome towards strangers and have a great sens of humor.

Vlorë is one of the biggest towns and the second largest port city of Albania, after Durrës, with a population of about 94,000. It is the city where the Albanian Declaration of Independence was proclaimed on November 28, 1912. The city was for a short time the capital of Albania.

Saranda Beach, Saranda, Albania
Sarandë or Saranda is the capital of the District of Sarandë, Albania, and is one of the most important tourist attractions of the Albanian Riviera. It is situated on an open sea gulf of the Ionian Sea in the Mediterranean 2 nautical miles from the Greek island of Corfu. The city of Saranda has a population of about 30,000. Near Sarandë are the remains of the ancient city of Butrint, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Durres Beach, Durres, Albania
The Beach of Durrës is the biggest and most visited beach in Albania. It lines the seafront of the city of Durrës and is about 10.5 kilometres (6.5 mi) long. A number of notable Hotels overlook the beach such as the Adriatik Hotel. This destination is popular with people from Albania (mainly from Middle and North Albania), Kosovo and the Macedonia. The beach is mainly visited by Albanian people. It is also a popular summer and weekend destination for the people of Tirana and Durrës. The estimated number of tourists, most of whom frequent the beach during the summer period, is about 600,000 a year.
